Job Description

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Conduct collaborative efforts across departments to gain comprehensive insights into current processes. Drive discussions to pinpoint pain points and areas for improvement, ensuring a holistic approach to optimization strategies;
  • Conduct deep dives: Utilize data-driven methods to lead in-depth analyses of existing processes. This includes collecting relevant data, mapping out processes, and performing gap analyses to pinpoint bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and untapped opportunities for optimization;
  • Develop clear process documentation: Create comprehensive and easily understandable documentation for optimized processes. This includes drafting detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and developing process flowcharts that provide a visual representation of the improved workflows;
  • Lead Tech Team alignment: Engage closely with Product and Data Teams to explore opportunities for process enhancement. Steer the implementation of process changes, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and feasibility;
  • KPI Tracking & Ownership: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics that measure process efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with newly established SOPs. Lead improvement projects and be the go-to person for these topics;
  • Supervise process changes: Oversee the implementation of process improvements and changes. Continuously measure the impact of these changes and gather data to assess their effectiveness;
  • Communicate results: Effectively communicate the results of process improvements to relevant stakeholders. Provide clear insights into the impact of optimizations, using data and metrics to support your findings in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Background in economics, or STEM;
  • Work experience: 2-4 years, ideally in operations, logistics or last-mile, in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a data-driven mindset;
  • You are highly organized and a results-oriented individual;
  • Experienced in managing relationships and expectations with various stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (particularly in Gsheets), and solid SQL skills;
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements;
  • Fluent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Looker or similar (i.e., Power BI) or Python/R;
  • Experience in the Food Delivery / Q-Commerce industry;
  • German is a plus.
