As a Replenishment Analyst (m/f/d), your goal is to increase product availability and reduce product waste. You will identify issues using SQL, Python, and Looker, and then transform these insights into actionable projects in Relex, our primary replenishment tool, and present your work to relevant stakeholders within the company.
Job Description
- Analyze and Forecast Demand: utilize historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics tools such as Relex to accurately forecast product demand and ensure optimal inventory levels;
- Optimize Inventory Management: implement strategies within Relex to balance stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce stockouts, ensuring continuous product availability;
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with commercial, hub operations, and supply chain teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives and respond effectively to changes in demand;
- Monitor and Report Key Metrics: track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product availability, inventory turnover, and waste reduction, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement;
- Develop and Implement Improvement Initiatives: identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in demand planning and replenishment, and lead projects to implement these improvements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects forward, take full ownership of tasks, and deliver results in a timely manner;
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Economics or related fields (Supply Chain / Logistics is a plus);
- Initial work experience in a data-driven business environment such as analytics, demand planning, controlling, or business intelligence;
- Business fluency in English (German is a plus);
- Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and SQL (Python is a plus);
- Prior experience with Relex or other replenishment software;
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar;
- Hands-on team player with a demonstrated ability to think outside the box and a nothing-is-impossible mindset.
