Job Description

As our Senior Manager, Tax, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of the Group’s tax functions, including but not limited to income tax and VAT. Ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely, and that they comply with all national, and international tax laws.
  • Strategic Tax Planning: Develop and implement strategic tax plans to optimize tax efficiency and support business initiatives. Identify and mitigate tax risks by implementing robust controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for tax advisors and fiscal authorities/tax auditions and build strong relationships within the organization.
  • Advisory and Support: Serve as an in-house tax expert, advising on tax implications for corporate strategies and decisions. Provide support in financial planning and analysis by offering insights that influence budgeting and financial projections.

Qualifications

  • >5 years of professional experience in the field of income taxes, ideally with a Big4 audit company and/or with exposure to fast growing businesses
  • A degree in business administration, tax law or a comparable course of study; having passed the tax advisor exam is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and German, capable of effectively interacting with both internal teams and external partners.
