About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the Role
We are searching for a customer-focused Lead Product Manager to drive and shape Finom's Spend Management solutions. This is a crucial role focused on delivering experiences that help entrepreneurs and SMEs across Europe manage their business spending. You will dive deep into customer pain points, particularly focusing on our card and payment experiences, and develop features that drive significant engagement, usage, and contribute directly to Finom's success. Reporting to the Head of Product for Core Experiences, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of how our customers manage their expenses and payments, ensuring our solutions deliver both customer value and tangible business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Finom’s Spend Management products, including card products, expense tracking, and related payment functionalities, with a clear focus on commercial impact.
- Become an expert on the spend management customer journeys, meticulously analysing user behaviour, identifying pain points, and designing solutions.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: from ideation and research through development, launch, and iteration, focusing on delivering value quickly and consistently.
- Develop and prioritize features specifically designed to increase the activation, adoption, and ongoing usage of our spend management tools, particularly our card offerings.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of engineers, designers, data analysts, and researchers to build impactful and high-quality product experiences.
- Deeply understand the jobs-to-be-done for SMEs related to spending, payments, and expense management, translating insights into actionable product requirements.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Spend Management product area, tying product improvements directly to user value and business goals.
- Stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the spend management, payments, and the broader fintech space.
- Champion a data-driven and customer-centric approach within your team and across the wider product organization.
Who You Are
- You have significant product management experience (7+ years), with a proven track record of launching and iterating on successful B2B SaaS or Fintech products.
- You are an AI-native product manager who embraces AI tools to work more effectively. You are equally excited to bring AI to the forefront of the products you build.
- You care deeply about the customer and have demonstrable experience working in a customer-focused product team that prioritizes users and their problems.
- You have experience with and an in-depth understanding of card products (e.g., debit/credit card issuing, processing, controls, and rewards) and strategies for driving card usage and engagement.
- Experience specifically in spend management, expense reporting, or accounts payable solutions is a significant plus.
- You have a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by SMEs and entrepreneurs, particularly in financial management.
- You are highly analytical and data-driven, comfortable defining metrics, analysing data, and using insights to inform product decisions.
- You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, data) in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- You are a clear and concise communicator (both written and verbal), able to articulate complex ideas to various stakeholders at different seniority levels. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, breaking down complex problems, and driving initiatives forward.

- Experience with leveraging AI for automation or insights within financial products.
