Responsibilities:Responsibilities:
- Administering PostgreSQL databases
- Administering non-relational databases (Elasticsearch, Clickhouse, etc.)
- Analyzing performance bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Automating database maintenance and monitoring
- Conducting load testing
- Resolving DBA-related incidents
- Configuring pgbouncer
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals
- Knowledge of all index types (b-tree, sp-gist, gist, gin, rum)
- Experience in database maintenance (indexes, statistics, writing maintenance scripts)
- Experience with Airflow and Apache Spark
- Ability to identify and solve performance issues
- Proficiency in modifying Postgresql.conf settings
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL Database Roles (user management)
- Strong SQL skills, and experience with stored procedures, functions, and views
- Experience in creating data warehouses (DWH)
- Knowledge of backup principles (types of backups, automation of backups, and restores)
- Knowledge of high availability principles (clusters, database replication settings)
- Required skills: PostgreSQL
