About The Role

We are actively searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As CFO, you will take a hands-on approach to develop and execute our financial strategy to ensure financial stability and growth. In This position you would be a key member of the executive team providing financial insights and making strategic decsions to support the company’s growth and success.

What you will be doing

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business goals and objectives.

Take ownership of financial planning processes: Business Reviews, Goals, Forecasts, Long Range Plan;

Act as a trusted business partner to the company, building relationships with key stakeholder to influence strategic decisions;

Manage and advise on special projects

Evaluate the organization's performance in, the annual budget, and the company's medium to long-term strategic plans.

Create financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models to guide decision-making and resource allocation.

Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements and reports. Communicate financial performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Liaise between the company and investors, analysts, and the financial community. Communicate financial results and strategies effectively.

Contribute actively to the company's strategic planning process, offering financial insights and recommendations to support growth and profitability.

Participation in business development together with the team, building the company from small to great.

Who you are

  • An academic degree in accountancy, economics or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar executive financial leadership role.
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen with a track record of success in financial leadership positions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; you have the ability to summarise complex financial ideas to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • You are very data-driven, and can back up their assertions with data.
  • Strong leader with great skills in managing relevant stakeholders, internally and externally.

Nice to have :

  • Experience in managing investor relations and working with the board of directors.
  • Experience in financial technology or with fintech startups
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, and key metrics used in FinTech and payments businesses.
  • Combined experience of investment house and in-house with start-up experience will be a plus.
