Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.

We are now expanding and looking for a Security Protective Manager (Säkerhetsskyddschef) that will help us plan, direct, and audit all security protection activities in accordance with the Swedish Security Protection Act (Säkerhetsskyddslagen 2018:585) and relevant authority regulations.

You will:

• Structure and execute our end-to-end security vetting process (Säkerhetsprövning) for new hires and consultants, including registry controls and deep-dive interviews.
• Establish, revise, and maintain the organization's Security Protection Analysis (Säkerhetsskyddsanalys) and Security Protection Plan (Säkerhetsskyddsplan).
• Design and deliver internal security briefings and training sessions to foster a high level of security awareness across all teams.
• Set technical and physical standards for our premises and information systems, ensuring our infrastructure is fully approved for handling classified data.
• Act as the primary point of contact and trusted liaison with external supervisory authorities.

We expect you to:

• Have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent specialized training from the Armed Forces or Säkerhetspolisen.
• Have experience of working within classified operations governed by the Swedish Security Protection Act, preferably within the defense sector, government authorities, or an approved supplier.
• Possess a proven track record in conducting security vetting interviews, managing registry controls via Säpo, and authoring or updating security protection analyses.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Säkerhetsskyddslagen, Offentlighets- och sekretesslagen (OSL), and their intersection with data privacy frameworks like GDPR.
• Exhibit exceptional personal integrity and structured documentation skills, with a pedagogical ability to balance business enablement with strict security gatekeeping.
• Experience as a military officer, military police (militärpolis), investigator, or from state intelligence services is a plus.
