Job Description
Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
Your mission when joining the Energy & Charging Infrastructure team at Einride will be to build the foundational, commercial, and strategic infrastructure database that powers our sustainable fleet. The charging database is a critical asset that puts charging opportunities on the map, directly enabling our fleet growth and empowering our intelligent operations platform (SAGA) to optimize charging sessions and energy costs.
As an intern, you will take ownership of this market intelligence database and transform how we track, analyze, and leverage infrastructure data across Europe. By ensuring our fleet has access to the most accurate data, you will be a key driver in scaling our operations and growth. This is a full-time summer internship with the possibility of a part-time extension for Fall 2026.
You will
- Build a robust data foundation: Audit and upgrade existing data sources to ensure high quality, providing the essential groundwork that allows our SAGA platform to perform at peak efficiency.
- Architect scalable automation: Develop a strategic plan to move from manual tracking to automated pipelines using APIs and LLMs, freeing up critical resources to focus on accelerating our network expansion.
- Optimize commercial efficiency: Link infrastructure data to contract fulfillments to manage partner relationships effectively, ensuring actual vehicle consumption maps perfectly against our commercial agreements.
- Enable strategic expansion: Proactively identify promising third-party charging networks to pursue, aligning our data insights with future fleet contracts and the company’s growth roadmap.
We expect you to:
- Currently pursue a degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Economics, or a related field with a strong interest in working with data.
- Have an analytical, proactive, and problem-solving mindset, you are not afraid of manual data clean-up, but you are always thinking about how to automate it.
- Possess a general understanding of eMobility roles (eMSP, CPO, Fleet) and a basic geographical knowledge of Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.Have first experience with building databases and visualizations using AI-supported tools like e.g. Claude
- Speak and write professional English, with basic German or Dutch language skills considered a strong plus to help navigate regional data sources.
You will be part of a truly diverse, high performing team with a common passion for sustainability and making things happen in an innovative way. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.
