Indirect Procurement Manager
Einride
Operations
Stockholm, Sweden
Job Description
Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Manager with a strong focus on Tech Procurement to take global category ownership of our technology and indirect sourcing engine. This is a strategic mission to build a world-class foundation of commercial integrity and operational speed that supports our journey toward the public markets.
You will:
- Own the end-to-end procurement process for all indirect spend categories, including SaaS, cloud infrastructure, IT hardware, professional services, marketing & events, facilities, travel, and contingent workforce.
- Develop category strategies for indirect spend and support the full sourcing cycle, from RFP/RFQ through commercial negotiation and contract execution.
- Evaluate and onboard new vendors using structured frameworks that balance capability, cost, security, and scalability.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts covering licensing, SLAs, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and maintain a structured contract repository and supplier register.
- Analyse indirect spend across business units, benchmark pricing, and identify consolidation opportunities and cost reduction levers; support the deployment of P2P tooling to improve spend visibility and compliance.
- Act as the primary procurement partner across all business functions, developing governance policies, driving audit readiness, and integrating sustainability and ESG criteria into sourcing decisions.
We expect you to:
- 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement or category management, with hands-on ownership across multiple spend categories including technology, professional services, marketing, and facilities.
- Proven ability to run end-to-end sourcing processes, from RFP/RFQ and vendor evaluation through contract negotiation and execution, and manage a structured supplier and contract portfolio.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate spend data into actionable insights, identify savings opportunities, and drive P2P process compliance across business units.
- Excellent stakeholder management and indirect leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across Legal, Finance, IT, and business functions, and develop procurement governance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This is a full-time position based in Stockholm. You will be part of a truly diverse, high performing team with a common passion for sustainability and making things happen in an innovative way. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.
Please note that as part of our standard recruitment process, we conduct a background control on the final candidate for this role. This may include verification of education, employment history, any relevant professional certifications or other information that may be of our interest.
