Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.

We’re seeking an Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in North America by landing and expanding strategic enterprise customers. This role bridges our commercial strategy and execution — working closely with the Head of Commercial and Key Accounts team to drive new revenue and scale our impact.

You will

  • Own the full sales cycle for net-new enterprise accounts, from prospecting and stakeholder mapping to contract negotiation and close.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans that align with each prospect’s ESG, cost, and operational priorities.
  • Partner with the Head of Commercial to translate GTM strategy into action, and provide feedback from the market to shape commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and deployment teams to design compelling, feasible solutions for potential customers.
  • Drive smooth handoff of newly signed accounts to the Key Accounts team for long-term management and growth.
  • Contribute to building a scalable sales process, including pipeline development, deal reviews, and forecasting.
  • Represent Einride at industry events, panels, and customer meetings to evangelize the transition to sustainable freight.

What Success Looks Like

  • Landing new enterprise logos with multi-million dollar revenue potential.
  • Building strong relationships with Director, VP, and C-level decision makers across logistics, supply chain, operations, and sustainability functions.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quota and pipeline coverage targets.
  • Enabling the Key Accounts team to grow landed accounts by setting them up with a clean transition and robust customer roadmap.

We expect you to:

  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new aspects of the freight, EV, and autonomous technology industry — staying ahead of a rapidly evolving market.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to engage with customers and represent Einride at industry events.
  • Ability to work in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with comfort navigating ambiguity and building processes from the ground up.
  • Ability to engage and influence Director through C-level stakeholders across operations, finance, sustainability, and procurement.
  • Expertise in value-based/solution selling, including building ROI cases and aligning multiple stakeholders behind a shared vision.
  • Deep understanding of logistics, supply chain, or sustainability-related technology and the challenges of fleet decarbonization.
  • Proven success closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals with large enterprise/mid market companies.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise/mid market sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.

This is a full-time remote position based anywhere in the United States. You will be part of a truly diverse, high performing team with a common passion for sustainability and making things happen in an innovative way. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.
