Job Description
Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
Your mission when joining as a Project Manager at Einride will be to be instrumental in driving key initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for leading and executing smaller, high-impact, cross-functional projects that are critical to the success of our Autonomous Truck platform. Your projects will involve close collaboration with teams spanning Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Software and Hardware Development, and Procurement. This role requires a blend of strong technical project management expertise and exceptional stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and effective project delivery, reporting directly to the Head of Autonomous Vehicle.
You will:
- Project Leadership and Execution: Manage the full lifecycle (initiation to closing) of multiple, smaller, concurrent, cross-functional projects.
- Cross-Organizational Coordination: Act as the central contact for seamless alignment and communication across departments: Regulatory Affairs, Sales, SW/HW Development, and Procurement. Collaborate closely with the main Vehicle Program Manager.
- Stakeholder Management and Reporting: Ensure clear, transparent status updates and project performance reports to the Head of Autonomous Vehicle and Executive Leadership.
- Risk and Resource Management: Apply best-practice methodologies (e.g., risk analysis, critical path management) to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Process Improvement: Implement and manage hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) project management methodologies tailored for complex R&D and vehicle development environments.
- Team Motivation: Foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment, motivating project team members to achieve ambitious goals.
We expect you to have:
- Experience: Solid background as a successful Project Manager leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the vehicle development lifecycle, specifically working across Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) integration.
- Project Management Skills: Strong foundation in typical project management methodologies, including the ability to effectively apply and blend Agile and Waterfall principles to deliver results in complex development environments. PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority across all levels of the organization.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
