Through freight capacity as a service, Einride enables businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, Einride was the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today Einride’s award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). The customers are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including blue chip companies such as Mars and Heineken.
Einride’s Corporate Finance team is now expanding and looking to hire an associate to help develop and execute on Einride’s financing strategy.
You will:
- Be part of and assist in all matters related to fundraising and financing across Einride’s capital structure
- Support project management of external parties such as banks, equity and debt investors, as well as expert advisors (legal, market, finance, tax, and accounting)
- Perform analysis and take ownership of financial models and investor materials
- Have ownership of internal finance related projects, including supporting the roll-out of business plans, internal forecasting, modelling, budgeting, and general business analysis
- Drive thought leadership in process development and increased productivity throughout the organisation
We expect you to:
- Have a university undergraduate degree. A relevant degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering is preferred but not essential
- Have 1-3 years of relevant work experience, of which a proportion has been spent at a top tier investment bank, corporate finance boutique, or other corporate finance related activities
- It is also of merit if you have experience from a start-up / scale-up environment
- Have a robust understanding of financing and are well acquainted with financial statements
- Be comfortable and familiar with financial modelling and accounting
- Have strong numerical and analytical skills
- Be ambitious with a high sense of responsibility and accountability, thriving as an individual contributor as well as a team
- Rely equally on your acute commercial sense, good judgement, and data when making decisions
- Have excellent verbal and written communication in English (and preferably Swedish)
- Be curious about and have an interest in the impact business and working in a scale up environment
