The Role: Account Executive
As an Account Executive at Duvo, you will be at the forefront of our growth in the retail and FMCG sectors. Your mission is to identify, develop, and close new business, as well as expand our footprint in existing accounts. You'll become a trusted advisor to senior retail and FMCG stakeholders, helping them unlock value through AI-powered automation.
Responsibilities:
Prospect, develop, and close new enterprise accounts in retail and FMCG
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers (C-level, function heads, senior managers) and key influencers
Execute a consultative sales process to uncover customer priorities and automation needs
Present Duvo’s unique value proposition, aligning technical capabilities to customer business challenges
Lead discovery sessions, value workshops, and solution presentations alongside Forward Deployed Engineers and Solution Consultants
Develop account plans, coordinate pilots, and define success metrics to demonstrate ROI
Drive account expansion through storytelling, cross-sell, and up-sell initiatives
Manage complex deals from pipeline generation through contract close, ensuring a seamless handoff to deployment teams
Requirements
4+ years’ experience in enterprise sales, ideally with SaaS, AI, or automation solutions for retail or FMCG
Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in solution-oriented selling environments
Deep understanding of retail or FMCG industry challenges and buying processes
Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to craft and deliver tailored solutions
Excellent presentation and communication skills—you can lead meetings with senior retail/FMCG stakeholders and translate value clearly
Track record building pipeline, winning new business, and expanding key accounts
High agency, resilience, and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and driving results
Willingness to travel (20-30%) to attend critical meetings
Nice to Have
Strong personal network in retail, FMCG, or supply chain sectors
Startup or high-growth scale-up experience
Familiarity with retail systems (ERPs such as SAP, MS Dynamics, NetSuite)
Experience selling to or working within top-tier retailers or global consumer goods companies
