About Duvo
Duvo is an AI-native automation platform for complex retail operations. Our agents log into ERPs, portals and legacy tools, move data across systems, read supplier emails, and can even make outbound calls to vendors and partners. They finish workflows end-to-end with approvals, guardrails and full audit trails.
We focus on the operational core of retailers: category management, supply chain, finance operations and vendor management. Duvo is live in multi-billion-euro retailers and FMCG environments, typically delivering payback in under 12 weeks.
The role
Your job as Retail Deployment Strategist is to go into those organisations with them and co-lead how Duvo rolls out: where we start, which workflows follow, which stakeholders we bring in, and how we turn early wins into a programme.
You are the person who:
Knows where value is in big retail orgs and how to access it
Shapes deployment plans that work in the real world, not in slides
This is a senior, high-leverage role at the intersection of retail operations, consulting and product deployment.
What you’ll do
Partner with retail customers to deeply understand their workflows, targets and pain points, often embedding directly with their teams on-site.
Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to scope, prototype and deliver solutions powered by Duvo’s agent platform.
Identify and interpret the key datasets and systems that drive retail decisions (ERP, pricing, inventory, promotions, vendor terms) and make sure they are wired into robust, usable setups.
Design and refine end-to-end user workflows around agents so they solve real problems and can scale across categories, banners and countries.
Lead training, onboarding and ongoing rituals so managers and frontline teams know when and how to use Duvo, and what “good” looks like.
Present insights, results and deployment strategy to stakeholders at all levels, from store and category leaders to CIOs and CFOs.
Drive customer expansion by scoping new use cases, functions and geographies, and shaping how Duvo grows its footprint within each retailer.
Who we’re looking for
You are a senior operator or consultant who has spent years inside large retailers or very close to them. You know the politics, the constraints, and where things really break.
Experience
4+ years in one or more of:
Retail operations, category management, supply chain or finance ops in a large retailer
Top-tier or strong boutique consulting focused on retail / consumer / operations
Vendor or SaaS role selling into retailers where you owned deployment or value realisation
Direct experience in at least one of:
Category management and merchandising
Supply chain, replenishment or inventory
Retail finance operations such as bonuses, rebates, AP/AR
Comfortable working around ERPs, planning tools, spreadsheets and portals. You do not need to be an engineer, but messy stacks do not scare you.
Skills and mindset
Strong “retail systems” intuition: you can look at a process and quickly see dependencies, bottlenecks and stakeholders
Executive presence: comfortable with C-level, function heads and senior managers in large organisations
Structured problem solver: can frame a messy situation into clear options, trade-offs and a practical plan
Change driver: you have led transformations or major process changes before, not just written decks about them
High agency, high urgency: you do not wait for instructions; you move, escalate, and remove blockers for the team
Comfortable in the field: you like being in stores, distribution centres and client offices, not just on video calls
Nice to have
Background in grocery or non-food retail, marketplaces, or FMCG with complex trade terms
Experience working with tools like SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, JDA/Blue Yonder, Manhattan or custom retail systems
Exposure to automation, RPA or AI projects such as agents, copilots or workflow tools
Prior work with GTM, sales engineering or value engineering teams on large deals
How we work at Duvo
Our culture principles are simple: high agency and urgency, customer first, growth is everyone’s job, high standards with zero ego, and one team.
In practice that means:
You are judged on real outcomes: live deployments, value delivered, and headroom unlocked
We argue hard about the work, not about status
Everyone contributes to growth: references, case studies, intros and product ideas
We default to sharing context, docs and learnings openly inside the company
What we offer
A front-row seat in building the next generation of retail automation, from early design partners to a repeatable motion across markets
Direct influence on how we deploy Duvo in large retailers and how our product and GTM evolve
Close collaboration with founders, FDEs and engineering
Competitive compensation including equity
Flexible base in Europe with regular travel to leading retailers and partners
If you have ever looked at a big retailer and thought “we could run this with half the manual work if we deployed the right things in the right order”, this is your role.
