Distribusion is quickly expanding globally and looking for a Rail Partnerships Manager to join the Carrier Operations team to drive performance improvements of key carrier partnerships.
What you will do:
- Take responsibility for the support and growth of a portfolio of the world’s leading Rail carriers.
- Cross-functional project management, driving strategic projects across the organization.
- Take a hands-on approach to solving problems; providing top notch service to our partners.
- Guide product development for our core product.
- Conceptualize and implement operational processes & tooling.
- Collaborate with all central functions and international teams.
- Collaborate with railways to understand their current and future perimeter
- Be the subject matter expert for the rail vertical, both technically and from a distribution stand point and maintain/provide a high quality knowledge of the industry.
We are mainly looking for this role to be based within Germany, preferably in our HQ in Berlin.
We are a remote-first company, with teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office.
Job requirements
Who you are:
- You bring proven experience in a fast paced environment (e.g Consulting, BD/Product/Partnership teams in start-ups).
- You have worked in the rail industry and have an understanding of the technical needs of rail carriers.
- You have technical expertise and are capable to run/navigate APIs easily with Postman or equivalent.
- You have commercial expertise and are capable of managing a carrier relationship.
- Your are confident in relationship-building with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You possess strong data analytics skills, enabling you to derive valuable insights to drive business decisions.
- You are effective in cross-functional project management, collaborating closely with both product and engineering teams.
- You are fluent in English, and additional languages are considered a valuable asset.
