We are looking for an experienced Legal Advisor to drive our legal operations. In this role, you will be managing legal affairs across contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our company's adherence to relevant laws and regulations while providing expert counsel to support our strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including standard terms and conditions, bespoke customer contracts, technology licensing agreements, and strategic partnerships.

• Oversee and manage liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance matters.

• Provide legal advisory services to various departments, reviewing and commenting on company policies and agreements.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, developing and implementing key company policies.

• Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting the organization and advise senior management accordingly.

• Collaborate with the finance team on commercial matters as needed.

• Manage external legal counsel relationships when specialized expertise is required.

• Develop and implement strategic IP protection and enforcement strategies, tailored to different jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications

• L.L.B. / L.L.M. with 3+ years of transaction/corporate experience (with experience in UK and/or US legal systems and practices)

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Strong track record of drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal databases.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points for any of the below:

• Experience in the construction or technology sectors.

• Familiarity with international business law and cross-border transactions.
