Berry Street

Sales & Business Development
New York, NY, USA
Posted on May 29, 2025

Berry Street is tackling America’s most comprehensive health crisis: food. More than half of Americans are struggling with their relationship with food, are clinically overweight, or suffer from a chronic condition linked to their diet.

Nutrition therapy is clinically proven to make a difference, and most commercial health insurance plans cover it at $0 out-of-pocket. Berry Street empowers registered dietitians to launch and grow in-network private practices. We’re creating game-changing technology to build America’s largest dietitian network and ensure that anyone can access the help they need.

Since launching in January 2023, we’ve grown to over 1,100 providers on our platform and tens of thousands of patients served, across all 50 states. We’re a Series B company backed by top VCs like Northzone, Sofina, and FJ Labs, as well as angel investors like the founders of Revolut, Spring, Grow Therapy, and Unified Vision.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced sales and partnerships leader to drive one of the most critical growth levers at Berry Street: expanding our strategic partnerships across the ecosystem of clinical practices, digital health startups, and adjacent care models.

As Lead, Partnerships, you’ll own the full lifecycle of sourcing, developing, and closing high-impact partnership deals, with a primary focus on identifying, engaging, and converting multi-provider practices into long-term customers. This is a highly strategic and entrepreneurial role with clear revenue impact and visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt and close: Prospect and close new business with group practices (2+ providers) by building relationships with practice owners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Own the sales cycle: From discovery and demos to negotiations and onboarding handoff, you’ll manage the full sales process.
  • Tailor the pitch: Collaborate with prospects to deeply understand their operational pain points and position our platform as the answer.
  • Drive pipeline growth: Leverage inbound leads, referrals, and outbound tactics to build a robust pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work with ops, product, and marketing to bring new partners to life and ensure ongoing success post-signature.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Track industry trends, competitor moves, and adjacent market opportunities to inform strategy.
  • Measure and celebrate success: Set clear KPIs and use data to measure, iterate, and celebrate wins along the way.
  • Raise the bar: Consistently hit—and aim to exceed—monthly and quarterly targets, helping to shape Berry Street’s market leadership in a key segment.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or growth roles, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced, self-directed startup healthcare environment
  • Track record of success in outbound sales to small business owners
  • Comfortable building presentations and sales collateral
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and love of owning of problems end-to-end
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of your work
  • The chance to drive impact within the healthcare landscape from day one
  • Comprehensive health insurance plans, including dental and vision
  • Unlimited PTO 🏖️
  • 401k with match 💰
  • Citibike membership 🚲
  • Unlimited dietitian care 🍓
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Competitive salary
  • The opportunity to help build a rapidly scaling start-up organization and lead a mission-critical effort
