About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Business Analyst who excels at bridging business needs with technical execution. In this hybrid role, you will gather and interpret requirements, analyze systems and workflows, and produce high-quality documentation for diverse technical and non‑technical audiences. You will support solution design, contribute to Agile activities, and help ensure successful delivery through well‑defined requirements and structured communication.
Responsibilities
Business & Technical Analysis
Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
Analyze current systems, data flows, and integrations to identify opportunities, gaps, risks, and improvements.
Validate and refine requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives and solution design.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Technical Writing & Documentation
Develop and maintain high‑quality documentation, including:
Functional and technical specifications
Meeting notes, action items, and issue logs
API documentation
User guides and manuals
System architecture overviews
SOPs, process documentation, and release notes
Test plans, test cases, and user stories
Training materials
Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and accessible to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and vendors to document system behavior and changes.
Maintain documentation standards, templates, and version control practices.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
Act as a liaison between business teams, technical groups, and vendors to support alignment and clarity.
Present findings, requirements, and documentation in a clear and professional format.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying requirements and assisting with test case creation and validation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Technical Writer, or similar hybrid role.
Strong background in writing technical and functional documentation.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Ability to analyze complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
Experience working with requirements and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SharePoint).
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Experience in Call/Contact Center environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Five9 or similar telephony platforms.
Experience documenting APIs, integrations, or cloud‑based systems.
Familiarity with data models, SQL, or foundational system architecture.
Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
Knowledge of UX writing or customer‑facing documentation.
Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA, or technical writing credentials.
