About the Role
Join our Life Insurance Vertical team, where we help life insurance companies improve their services and make financial protection more accessible for everyone. As a Life Insurance intern, you will work on meaningful projects that support our mission and strategic goals, especially in health intelligence. You’ll collaborate with team members from underwriting, analytics, and product management, contributing to real-world solutions.
Location: On-site in Alpharetta, GA. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Program Dates: May 18 – July 24, 2026
Eligibility: Undergraduate students expected to graduate by May 2027
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members across the Life Vertical, Analytics, and Product Management groups to support ongoing projects.
Support projects that enhance our understanding of medical conditions by identifying and organizing key data points from publicly available resources.
Develop recommendations for integrating various types of health data (e.g., diagnosis codes, procedures, lab results, social and prescription history) to improve our product offerings.
Expand and update our competitive analysis of the life insurance market, including research on industry trends, social media presence, thought leadership, partnerships, and recent changes in leadership or hiring.
Analyze and highlight standard and unique features of life insurance solutions, identifying areas of opportunity or potential risk for the business.
Work closely with analytics experts and product managers to ensure findings are accurate, actionable, and contribute to real-world business decisions.
Requirements
Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, public health, marketing, math, statistics, or a related field with a graduation date of May 2027.
Possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Showcase openness to learning and contributing in a professional matrix environment.
Display experience or interest in healthcare insurance, data analysis, or coding (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED, Rx data) is welcome but is not required.
