Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with Linux system administration background and hands-on experience of scripting. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing system configurations, and ensuring the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and automate Linux-based infrastructure (CentOS/RHEL preferably).

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Write and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure automation.

• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and tool integration.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across dev, staging, and production environments.

• Knowledge and experience on data processing and analysis (Splunk preferably).

• Participate security vulnerability discovery and remediation to secure our production environments.

• Manage and operate On-Prem and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Linux System Administration role.

• Hands-on experience of Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distros).

• Hands-on experience of configuration management and automation (Puppet, Ansible or similar tools).

• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python.

• Knowledge and experiences of JSON and YAML data processing.

• Knowledge and experiences of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD…).

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and system monitoring.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of RESTful API integration.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Understanding of virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).

• Experience of Terraform or other infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.

• Experience of secure software delivery (DevSecOps mindset).
