About the Role
To empower LNRS to achieve profitable revenue growth and market leadership. Focused on evaluating market problems, defining the strategic plans to grow and improve our business, and on creating new capabilities that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition and new market activity.
Responsibilities
- 1. Industry research and analysis:
- Track the development of the insurance industry, conduct in depth research on market trends, policies and regulations, competitive landscape and technological innovation of motor insurance and other insurance, and explore opportunities.
- For areas that can be explored, assess the potential market opportunities and risks, conduct sufficient market research, and provide data support for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor the impact of regulatory policies and the application of technology on the business, and quickly propose response strategies.
- Benchmark domestic and foreign innovation cases, and refine reusable business models.
- 2. Strategy formulation and planning:
- Lead the formulation of the company's medium- and long-term development strategy for the next 3-5 years, and clarify the business growth path.
- Collaborate with business departments to design competitive strategies for niche segments.
- Design resource allocation plans to ensure that the strategy is matched with implementation capabilities.
- Lead the decoding of the strategy, break down long-term goals into quarterly OKRs, and promote cross-departmental collaboration. Regularly review the progress of the strategy and propose dynamic adjustments.
- 3. Resource integration and strategic cooperation
- Establish an industry resource network (insurers, reinsurers, insurance technology companies, etc.) and promote cooperation opportunities and pilot projects.
- Evaluate potential targets for mergers and acquisitions or strategic investments (e.g., AI pricing teams for car insurance, TPA service providers for health insurance), and provide negotiation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in economics, finance, MBA, insurance, etc. is preferred.
- More than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with strategic thinking skills, including at least 5 years of responsibility for strategic design or business growth in the insurance industry (e.g., former head of the strategic department of an insurance company, strategic director of an Internet insurance platform).
- Experience in implementing strategies from scratch and being able to adapt to resource constraints in small and medium-sized companies (e.g. having led the entire process of innovative insurance products from market research to premium scale).
- Excellent industry research capabilities, proficient in using SWOT, PEST, Porter's Five Forces and other analytical tools. Able to independently complete market size estimation, business model design, etc.
- Innovative, collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization, interacting, influencing, negotiating effectively with all levels of leadership and peers.
- Experience in cooperation in the field of insurance technology and in-depth understanding of insurance technology.
- Experience in strategic positions in leading insurance companies, consulting firms (e.g. McKinsey, BCG Insurance Group) or Internet insurance platforms.
- Demonstrated strong execution in strategic planning and resource integration, and experience in successfully building a business from scratch.
