Since our start in 2017, we’ve been on a mission to improve the world’s financial health – one smart tool at a time. With bold ambitions, a love for testing new ideas, and a deep commitment to making a real difference, we’re growing fast. 2023 was a milestone year, and we’re just getting started. Now, we’re doubling down on one of our most important areas: Finance.

We're building a finance function that matches the pace and ambition of the rest of the company – and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant who’s excited about joining early, shaping the way we work, and building something from the ground up.

What you will be doing

As Senior Accountant, you’ll be an integral part of building a finance function that’s not just technically sound but also future-proof. You’ll take ownership, move fast, and continuously improve how we do things. If you like clear structures, predictable days, and everything neatly in place – this may not be the role for you (yet). But if you thrive in change, enjoy being hands-on, and get a kick out of fixing things that are messy, you’ll feel right at home.

Some of the things you’ll be working on:

- Running and improving day-to-day accounting activities and supporting junior colleagues.
- Leading monthly and yearly closing processes – and support in external reporting.
- Preparing annual financial statements (K3, but if you’re into IFRS, that’s great too).
- Handling income tax and supporting audits.
- Leading finance projects that streamline, automate, or otherwise make our lives easier.
- Involved in consolidating group income statements and balance sheets.

You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You work independently, ask questions, and care deeply about getting things right. You're energised by working in an environment where things are evolving – and you’re the kind of person who makes them evolve in the right direction.

Furthermore, it’s important that you thrive in a fast-paced, scaleup environment where roles aren’t narrowly defined. Instead of working on a small piece in a large team, you're used to—and enjoy—taking broader ownership, juggling both structured responsibilities and more ad hoc tasks as they come.

What we’re hoping you bring:

- Several years of experience working with accounting (more important than number of years: how hands-on you've been).
- Strong Excel skills – we know everyone says this, but we mean it.
- A habit of taking responsibility and getting things done.

Bonus if you’ve also got:

- Experience with NetSuite or other similar larger systems.
- IFRS knowledge.
- Exposure to international accounting or VAT and tax structures.

We’re an office-based team and we genuinely enjoy working together in person – most of us are in the office four days a week. It helps us move faster, collaborate better, and have more fun while doing it.
